WAVESAFE Silver-Net Canopy – Lightweight, breathable & highly effective

The high-quality WAVESAFE Silver Canopy combines very high shielding performance with an exceptionally lightweight, airy fabric. With a material composition of 80% nylon and 20% silver, it offers reliable protection against mobile phone radiation – completely free of nanosilver.

With a shielding performance of 45 dB at 3.5 GHz (5G), the fabric allows less than 0.01 per cent of the radiation to pass through.

Its effectiveness has been assessed by Prof. Peter Pauli, a microwave and radar engineer at the University of the German Armed Forces in Munich.

Pyramid Canopy – Flexible protection for your sleeping area

The canopy is suitable for beds up to 160 cm wide and, thanks to its flexible design, can be used in a variety of locations. It is ideal for rooms with high ceilings, but can also be used in the garden, on the balcony or when camping.

Flexible and easy to set up

No holes need to be drilled in the ceiling for installation. With the optionally available stand, the canopy can be easily set up and hung.

Alternatively, the canopy can also be used without a stand and attached to a hook. A suitable hook is included.

The canopy adapts to the size of the bed. For beds with a width of 90 to 120 cm, there is even room inside for a bedside table.

Protection against radiation from outside and inside

The WAVESAFE Silver Canopy provides a protected sleeping area against external mobile phone radiation, for example from transmission masts, as well as against indoor radiation sources such as Wi-Fi, DECT phones, Bluetooth and baby monitors.

The shielding effect is physically measurable and is based on the reflection of electromagnetic radiation.

Additional protection in multi-storey buildings

To also shield against radiation entering the sleeping area from below, we recommend the supplementary canopy underlay (item 700098, 195 × 260 cm).

This provides additional shielding for the sleeping area from below as well.

Earthing

As the silver fabric is electrically conductive, we recommend proper earthing. The suitable WAVESAFE earthing magnet (item 770313) can be used for this purpose.

Important information about the silver fabric

Silver is a naturally reactive material. Textiles containing silver may therefore tarnish over time or exhibit slight visual discolouration due to the manufacturing process. These changes do not affect the shielding performance and do not constitute a material defect.

To maintain optimum shielding performance and service life for as long as possible, the canopy should not be exposed to direct sunlight on a permanent basis.

The service life of textiles containing silver also depends on individual usage. Frequent movement, severe creasing or intense mechanical stress can affect the durability of the material over time.
