WAVESAFE shielding canopy with silver fabric – lightweight, breathable and effective
Suitable for single beds up to 160 cm wide
This high-quality shielding canopy is made from 80% nylon and 20% silver and offers reliable protection against high-frequency electromagnetic radiation. The fabric contains no nano-silver and achieves a shielding performance of 45 dB at 3.5 GHz (5G). This shields over 99.99% of incident mobile phone radiation.
The shielding effectiveness has been technically verified and confirmed by Prof. Peter Pauli, a microwave and radar engineer at the University of the German Armed Forces in Munich.

Important note for multi-storey buildings:
If relevant sources of radiation are located below the bedroom, we also recommend using the appropriate canopy underlay (item no. 700098, 200 × 260 cm). This is the only way to achieve complete shielding from below as well.

Notes on silver-coated fabric
Silver-coated textiles may tarnish over time or exhibit slight colour changes as a result of the manufacturing process. This is inherent to the material and does not constitute a quality defect nor does it impair the shielding performance.
As with all silver-containing fabrics, the service life depends on usage. Frequent movement, severe creasing or high mechanical stress may affect the durability of the material over time.

Installation without drilling:
