Acousticom 2 was developed with the help of years of experience in practical measurements of high-frequency electromagnetic radiation. The LED display makes it easy to interpret the radiation situation. With the switchable sound signal, the different sources of the radiation can be distinguished (whistling sound: transmission tower, crackling: WLAN, noise: DECT telephone). The perfect measuring device to measure high-frequency radiation yourself in a simple and inexpensive way.
Technical data:
LED lights display peak measurements of high frequency electromagnetic radiation from 200 MHz to over 8000 MHz (8GHz), which are the frequencies emitted by most modern communication systems in our daily environment. These include TETRA, all mobile phones with 4G/LTE, smart meters and all WLan and WiMax frequencies. All 5G frequency bands approved to date in Germany, Austria and Switzerland can also be measured.
A measurement is made 500 times/second.
If two LEDs are displayed, the measurement amount is in the middle. For example, if the display lights up at 0.1 and 0.3 V/m, the value is 0.2 V/m.
Sensitivity (peak measurement display): 0.01 - 6.00 volts per metre (V/m) 0.01 / 0.02 / 0.05 / 0.1 / 0.3 / 1.0 / 3.0 / 6.0 V/m; (corresponds to 0.5 to 100,000 peak µW/m2)
